One of the greatest comic strips currently being produced is Richard Thompson's 'Cul de Sac.' If you haven't heard of it, I strongly encourage you to look it up (gocomics.com is a good way). This year, Mr. Thompson won the National Cartoonist Society's Reuben Award. Anyway, he recently found out that he has Parkinson's disease, which is pretty bad for a cartoonist. Fortunately, he is still able to produce his strip. There is a project going on called Team Cul de Sac, which is going to raise money for Parkinson's research. It involves cartoonists from all over producing a piece featuring the characters from the comic strip. All the pieces are going to be compiled and published in a book which will then be sold. Also, the original pieces of artwork will be auctioned out. There are some big names attached to the project, all the way to Bill Watterson (Calvin and Hobbes).

My contribution is below. Who knows if they'll actually use it, but it's for a good cause so might as well try.
