Practicing some editorial cartooning

For a competition. The subject was the Supreme Court's ruling in the FEC vs. Citizen's United Case. It basically said that corporations have the same 1st amendment rights as an individual and can use their money to fund political campaigns - which makes their voices a lot louder than those of the public.

UPDATE: This cartoon won the contest and appears in the magazine Liberalis, and won me a sweet $100. They published the colored version. http://liberalis.usu.edu/winter2013_homepage/liberalis-winter2013_web.pdf
