Facebook

Well I finally decided to make one of those facebook fan page thingies. It seems to be a lot easier for people to check things on facebook. It's also easier to spread the word, so like it and invite your friends pretty please.

Octopus Soup

A lot of times we have those competitive cooking shows playing on TV while I'm doing a new comic, so this was the inevitable result.

Whip!

This is one I like, but I might re-do someday because I don't think I made it obvious enough that the slavedriver on the right is, in fact, addressing the slavedriver on the left. I think I could make that more clear. Maybe it works. What do you think?

Bears

I'm starting to use photoshop a little more to add in words and clean them up a little bit. I'm really happy with how it's turning out so I'm going to try to get more proficient at it.

Catapult

On this one I inked it and scanned it before I even realized I hadn't added in any words! So I did this in paint and it turned out ok. I'll still probably do the rest by hand though. Once I get photoshop working then maybe I'll use that instead. We'll see.

Here's my first officially printed cartoon. Hopefully the first of many.

It turned out a little bit lighter than the other ones they print but I still like it. It might be my paper or scanner or something. Oh well. And it looks like they only had room to put 'Deep End,' but that's not a big deal either. It's still called 'THE Deep End' though. Overall, I'm pretty happy with it.

"The Deep End"

Ok, well this Wednesday my comics will start appearing in the Utah Statesman! A couple of people who don't get the Statesman have asked me how they will be able to see them so I decided it would be easiest to start up a blog. Here I will be posting my comics as well as updates about how things are going. We'll see how this works. Any suggestions are welcome.
